For the Love of Fruits
Make them part of your daily diet

I love my fruits.
They are blessings
to humankind—
so many flavors
to choose from!
Full of antioxidants
and dietary fibers,
they are nutritious.
I forage, grow,
and buy them
because they are
a delight to the senses.
They are what
our system loves—
since our ancestors’ time,
fruits have been part
of our natural diet.
Choose your fruits.
Eat them fresh—
for the preservatives-laced
dry fruits are dangerous.
I’ve learned about
all the local plants,
so I pick
the seasonal abundance.
Be that feijoas or passion fruits
Loquats or prickly pears
It hurts to see so much
rot away—
because people are unaware.
Want continuous health?
Make fruits
a regular part
of your diet.
