For my sake

For both of our sake (poem)

By RAOMPublished about a month ago 1 min read

For my sake.

For both of our sake.

Can't you see my lovely eyes?

How can you possibly feel the love I have for you?

What is making you look at me as if you are troubled?

You are very far from me, yet I am holding onto memories of you.

On a piece of yellow paper.

The color of which has come from love,

and I carry it with me, kissing it daily.

Did you receive my present in the way that I sent?

Were you able to draw the hearts I sent you?

Don’t be sad.

I understand what is difficult about life.

I know when your eyes search for mine.

I hear your voice through the eyes of my soul.

At times you weep, at times you laugh…at times you simply breathe.

I write to you with difficulty.

My medications affect my thoughts.

From room 19 I now softly sing for my own good.

Tomorrow they will take me back.

I will light your candle once again.

I will also leave you this letter.

Wait for me.

A/N:

She never made it.

For her own good.

That night, above the clouds, she was reunited with him for her own good.
