For Just a While
I loved the way you made me feel

For Just a While
It may have been wrong, but it felt so right
laying in your arms, throughout the night
some didn't like it, but what the hell
oh in our world, all was well.
Walking the beach, during the day
then gazing at stars and the milky way
the warmth, the touch, the tender kiss
for just a while, our world was bliss.
Ooh ooh baby, you made me smile
even though, for just a while
If only time, had just stood still
instead it served, a bitter pill
but oh baby, it was so worthwhile.
The gentle embrace, the love you gave
I'll remember forever, beyond your grave
I cherish the time, we had together
in my heart, you'll live forever.
Ooh ooh baby, you made me smile
even though, for just a while
If only time, had just stood still
instead it served, a bitter pill
but oh baby, it was so worthwhile.
Ooh ooh baby, our love was real
I loved the way, you made me feel
For just a while.

I like this piece. It is relatable and "evergreen."
