For I have seen

By:Kayla Marie Carter

Crippled by the wounds of others, surrounded by chaos, I have foreseen many.

While others laughed at jokes and walk about with no worries in the world, I felt as if others saw me just the same...Silly of me to think they could see my wounds. I have yet to learn more of others and as they of me.

You ever come across as sweet and pure yet you think not of yourself? It’s what others see of you that you lack In yourself; ourselves. Though I have seen much from a young age, I’m in awe with how beautiful others see me and I see you.

I travel and I can’t help but to wonder, looking at someone walk by, as they read a book, as they listen to music, dine with friends, how these moments are just that...moments. My mind feels older than my age and sometimes not my own. Crazy to think that...For I have seen many memories.
