…Not once did I ever meet you,

...I only needed you a couple times but you were no where to be found as if you completely disappeared; at least that's the way my loneliness sounded.

...So I developed anger; I felt abandoned & every day would be something I'd rue,

...I proceeded to ignore the fact that you were gone & never coming back so all it did was eat me alive but I learned & became well grounded.

...You made me the great man I am today,

...That is something I just can't deny.

...You left me with a whole in my heart, tears of frustration, but all I ever wanted was for you to stay,

...I don't think I will ever get over the fact that I know nothing about you; I guess I'm too afraid to face the truth within the lie.

...You missed out on the Greatness that you had once helped created,

...But it's too bad you won't get to see your Pride & Joy continue to grow & shine; that's the only thing truly sad.

...I just don't have the heart to speak ill of you & you are my Father but the only love I have for you is from being your seed but even that over time had deflated,

...So I hope with this poem, you never forget where we stand because I only wrote this For Dad.
