For Brenda
Your not gone we just can’t see you for a while

For Brenda
I miss you in the quiet hours,
when the room holds only silence.
Your voice still lingers in the air,
as though the walls remember you.
I reach for words I cannot hear,
but my heart answers for you.
Our chats were more than passing time,
they were threads of closeness,
woven between laughter and comfort,
woven between the little things.
Every story you shared still rests in me,
a garden of memories that will not fade.
I loved you as a sister,
not by name alone but by soul.
You gave your kindness freely,
and I held it like a light.
Even now the glow remains,
guiding me through the dark.
The days turn, yet I feel you near,
your presence not lost but shifted.
I carry you where time cannot reach,
in a place no silence can erase.
Love does not vanish when breath is gone,
it deepens, it roots, it endures.
I speak to you in my thoughts,
imagining your gentle reply.
Your laughter finds me in memory,
your wisdom steadies me in doubt.
Though the world is emptier without you,
my heart is fuller for having known you.
Brenda, I loved you and still I do.
Distance cannot steal what is eternal.
Every chat, every moment, every smile,
lives in me with unbroken strength.
I will miss you always,
and love you forever.

It's hard to lose any kind of friend especially close ones. You do have your memories though. Good job.
