When Football Season Starts at Virginia Tech

In the fall,
It is time for Virginia Tech Football,
Here in Blacksburg, Virginia,
We hope the Hokies win,
Time and time again,
All the town,
They sit down,
On the bleachers,
Loud as can be,
The sunlight hitting the field,
A victory they hope to yield,
All I hear,
Are shouts and cheer,
There are alot of Hokie fans here,
Rocking the Orange and Maroon,
It makes for a fan's good afternoon,
Complete with alot of good food,
To put us fans,
In a cheery sports mood,
The drive down Interstate 81,
Is always alot of fun,
When it is fall,
It is time for Virginia Tech football.
