Foolish Left Behind

Thought It Would Be Different

By Karl JacksonPublished 10 months ago 1 min read

In shadows cast by choices made,

The foolish linger, dreams delayed.

With eyes that seek what once was bright,

They grasp at echoes, lost in night.

Yet wisdom whispers, time's embrace,

To forge anew, to find their place,

In shadows cast by fleeting dreams, they linger,

With hearts entwined in echoes of the past,

The foolish left behind, their hope a flicker,

Yet wisdom blooms in time, though seldom fast,

In stillness, they find strength, their roots held fast.
