Dear Full Moon So Red
Why do kids act weird when you are full?
No one can deny a baby pule
Dancing to the tune
Do they see your Dune?
The cat jumps over your fiddle.
Like a pancake griddle
Is it doomsday
It's not boom day
That's what's weird about your full moon.
The world feels your superior cocoon.
Time for the great harvest
The farmers wear their vests.
To collect their best
Your moonlight
is the people’s delight
Who invites the crows?
To feast on your show
Will your night ever end
It's just around the bend.

This was fun to read and wouldn't it be nice if the moon could answer your questions?
This was such a fun and whimsical read! 🌕 I love how you captured the mysterious and slightly mischievous energy of a full moon.
Very clever… I learnt a new word! Pule!!✅🤩 I Especially like: “The cat jumps over your fiddle. Like a pancake griddle”💖
The world feels your superior cocoon, I especially loved that!
This is so much fun, Mariann.
This is a fun poem to read and good job.
Ha ha what a fun piece about a blood moon
Haha this one’s got such a cheeky charm! It feels like the moon’s getting roasted and adored at the same time. Careful, moon—you’ve been called out and complimented in one go! 🌚
