Life has multiple challenges and obstacles, and we sometimes wonder if they have any meaning. What are they supposed to fulfil or teach us?

When they come together at once, we question their purpose.

We will always dislike them, but they have a function – to make us the solid people we are. And they do guide us along the paths that we are supposed to follow in life. Like them or not, they form part of our purpose.

And following that purpose takes the commitment, resilience adaptability - and some gumption.

But we've got this. Enjoy these free verses.

Star

Lone in glory

Light that guides

On unknown path

Trail

The light

Pledge time

Aim

For path's end

Track

Worn path

With grit

Flex the

mind

And come

To end.

  • "With grit Flex the mind"...spot on! I agree it takes grit to grow and to be an honest writer/person.
