Your free from danger at last
Fly To Heaven Little Bird
Fly free, little soul, beyond the skies
Your journey now begins
The earth has loosed its hold on you
Heaven calls you in.
No more pain, no more fear
Only light and peace above
Fly high, beloved spirit,
Wrapped in endless love.
The stars will know your whisper
The moon will feel your grace
And every dawn will carry
A memory of you,
no other can replace.
No shadow follows after,
No sorrow clings to you.
You’ve stepped beyond the silence,
Where all is pure and true.
We’ll speak to you in stillness
In quiet prayers and song
Your love remains within us
Though you have journeyed on
So rest now in the mystery
Where time and tears release
Cradled in the breath of stars
And held in perfect peace.
