Fluffy Friend

I live in your house,

and am quiet as a mouse.

I don't move around much,

unless its through your touch.

I make for a playful toy,

bringing about laughter and joy.

You need me in your life,

just like a husband or wife.

Often times I get tucked away,

and wait for years for the bright of day.

All snuggled up in a box filled with others,

longing for the embrace and your love that smothers.

Until at last you open the bin,

and move me around to play again.

Hugged and squeezed I play my true role,

what am I and claim this poems goal.
