Plucked and pampered-
Flowers in a row
Petals dancing,
Dew dappled leaves-
Sun's rays glisten
Feeding winter dried skin-
Plucked and pampered
Flowers in a line
Night's deepest fall
The serrated edge
Of an end-
Moonlight lends new twist
To petal's innocent cover-
Plucked and pampered
Flowers in a line
Awaiting the sweet
Lusted knife-
Plucked and pampered
Flowers in a row
Yearn for shelter
From prying eyes
And snapping photo-
Plucked and pampered
Flowers in a row-
Stare between fence posts
Towards sky
Dew drops glisten
On abandoned leaves
Dried petals-
Turning putrid shade
Of dried blood beneath-
Plucked and pampered...
Let us grow wild
Their swaying bodies cry,
Grow tall and ragged
Entice the sweet bee-
Let us grow wild
For the wild is where
The sweet flowers flourish.
