They flash upon that inward eye ... / And then my heart with pleasure fills - William Wordsworth, "I Wandered Lonely as a Cloud"

Yes, the Flint Hills of Kansas really are this beautiful. I had to add a new word --"viridescent" -- to my palette.

About the Creator

Sonia Heidi Unruh

I love: my husband and children; all who claim me as family or friend; the first bite of chocolate; the last blue before sunset; solving puzzles; stroking cats; finding myself by writing; losing myself in reading; the Creator who is love.

That was beautiful!! I learned a new word too haha. I also learned about a side of Kansas Iโ€™ve never seen!! I was looking at images of the Flint Hills and there was one at sunset that must have been taken in the fallโ€ฆ.and it really could have been taken in the West Virginia hills! What a lovely place!
