Like a flickering candlelight in the wind,

I am sustained by the fire that burns within.

The breeze blows strongly,

But my wax is wedged in the polished gold of my testimony.

My Lord, my Lord

My faith is in you.

He who abides above.

My Love, my Love

My hope is in You

Your Spirit rests like a dove

In my soul

Where the coals of the enemy

Cannot compare to the brilliance of Your glory.

...

Seasons change,

But my Lord remains ever the same.

I fear no heat

For when it comes, I will melt into the heart of my Majesty.

At His feet,

I bring all the things I had to retreat from

For He is stronger than my worst foe.

When He imbibes me with His Word, I am reminded that His Kingdom is what I'm fighting for.

Love everlasting, righteous King of kings, to You be the honor, glory and power.

Blessing upon blessings in Your name. Amen.
