Carpe diem - seize the moment, because it doesn't last.
The cherry blossom is a flower that blooms in spring, on the cusp of the Lunar New Year. This pink flower blooms only briefly, and so it represents transience. owing to its ephemeral nature.
We celebrate it today. Like this fragile flower, seize the moment, for it happens only now.

Blooming in spring,
Fleeting pink tapestry.
Their petals too fragile to hold-
they fall.
Moments
Quickly dissolve:
Unread texts, missed calls-until
spring returns,a frail memory.
Breathe now.
