Can we be each other’s flamingo?
Together, out of muddy waters,
we’ll find nourishment in love,
bringing out our most beautiful shades.
We’ll wade into the deep,
avoiding the world’s predators,
monogamy and parenting our guide.
Let’s watch lush sunsets by the lake
and believe in love everlasting,
our hearts crashing together like ocean waves.
To find you now amidst distractions and mistakes;
means our love can be timeless, always renewed like a lake.
And when my time comes,
I’ll find you in hues of purple,
in the heavens or in outer space.
A love that’s eternal is the vow I long to take.

That was such a beautiful poem and your cover pic was stunning!
Interesting picture of flamingos wading the muddy waters avoiding the predators, very fine composition of your wish in this poem.
