Standing up for yourself,

Comes with a price,

A selfish and ignorant one,

From the other person,

No one should force you into,

Submission,

Unless they are battling their own demons,

With a fist of rage,

To back it up with,

This will not alter my path I take,

In the morning or the afternoon,

Or anytime whatsoever,

I will rise above it,

And cast away all of my fear,

Returning most days to the scene of the crime,
