First Love

A Tender Memory That Never Fades

By AmeliaPublished 5 months ago 1 min read

I saw you once, and time stood still,
A glance, a smile—I felt the thrill.
The world grew quiet, soft and wide,
With you, my heart had found its guide.

We laughed like children chasing light,
Our days were dreams, our stars were bright.
A touch, a whisper, breath so near—
With you, I felt the sky was clear.

You held my hand, my soul took flight,
Your name still echoes every night.
Though seasons changed and paths diverged,
That first sweet fire has never purged.

Your voice returns with summer rain,
A gentle warmth, a pleasant pain.
Though time may dim the scenes we knew,
My first love’s light still shines so true.

Forever etched, soft as a dove—
My heart remembers its
first love.
