Lavender clouds on the horizon

Speak worlds of the sun’s rise.

Open my eyes and I know I belong

Right next to you; by your side.

The dew sits on snow in the morning,

Dawn speaks with the thrills of the birds.

Just as the birds, I feel I must sing

Of the joys to me, which you bring.

Your silhouette binds my heart and my soul,

Handsome features; so wise and so bold.

Deep brown eyes and gentle nose,

A mouth that gifts kisses; and hands that hold.

Shadows flee when I am with you,

Time slows, snow melts, and the sun rises.

Open my eyes and I find my hands in yours,

I am gifted with a blessing in disguise;

For in your eyes my love reflected do I find.
