It was as sudden as it was slow
Flowing through the ether, enveloping me
A tangible change, like soft, mouldable wax.
Dampening the sounds of the playground,
Slowing the dust in the sunset rays.
Hairs on my neck rose with a prickle,
Cold beads of sweat perspired.
I saw you.
About the Creator
Salomé Saffiri
Writing - is my purpose. I feel elated when my thoughts assume shapes, and turn into Timberwolves, running through the snowbound planes of fresh paper, leaving the black ink of their paw prints behind.
