Winter Comes

Summer long since ended.

Fall fades fast and cold transcended.

Winter's lovely kiss cascades the air.

Sidewalks of a dismal gray and bare

Dusted with a lovely, veiled layer of white.

Christmas will be here soon,

As nature shifts from warm, to cool, to cold beneath a lovely moon.

Who will YOU celebrate this Winter with;

and who was missing that was here the last,

As seasons change and go so fast?

Bundle up; it's colder now.

Summer's heat is at its end.

The sunset's so much earlier now.

Did we lose an hour; or more like ten?

Bundle up by firelight

Winter bliss celebrates its first night.

Observe this with the ones you love,

and do not neglect your hats and gloves...
