I can build a fire
I'm good at it
in the fire pit
of my heart
flames melting my heartstrings
of my mind
burning my emotions
shuttered
of my spirit
singeing my will
of my body
flames licking my senses
raw
But I have learned that
one should not
build a fire
without enough
tears to put it out
