Finding Tranquility
Is our responsibility, for it comes hidden in many forms

I attended the university
for my classes,
as part of a degree in science.
I moved from class to labs—
but never rushed back home,
just like that.
I spent abundant time
in the lovely campus
full of flora and fauna,
with my camera in hand.
Such joy it was,
watching the wonders
and capturing them.
They dispelled my stress
and filled my heart with grace.
I continued this practice
for three years,
and I’m very proud of it,
for this wellbeing rituals.
Why should we miss
the free resources,
and little joys life offers?
Just imagine sitting there,
a tranquil, secluded corner,
with only plants around,
visited by bees and butterflies,
doves and finches,
sunbathing lizards,
and feral cats.
Remember readers,
we craft our own happiness.
It comes in many forms,
we don't complain,
we mindfully seek them,
attaining peace and Zen.

That little area is one place that I would enjoy just to sit and listen. I had a place almost like that at my college. Good job and thanks for the memory.
Oooo, seeing those cats would be wonderful. Loved your photo and poem!
Those free little sources of joy are the best in life!
This sounds the ideal place to be and just chill. ♦️🏆♦️
