Often we struggle as we try to face,

a life going on at a crazy pace.

We lose our balance and then our way,

collapse in bed at the end of the day.

The world keeps going ignoring our fall,

seizes our energy and takes it all.

This leaves us empty, unsure, and confused

with a mind and heart that has been abused.

But I refuse to be beaten this day

and I have found a different way.

I refuse to walk, instead I shall fly -

the rules that hold me down I will defy.

Where others see a tree and pass it by,

I see a dryad and stop to say hi.

Where others see clouds - and only see rain,

I see a kitty, a dog, and a train.

Where others have packed the magic away -

I will find a fairy and dance and play.

And when day is done and I go to bed,

my soul is renewed and all stress is shed.

So join me please, let's grow up but not old.

First to the rainbow wins leprechaun gold!
