Finding Joy in the Little Things

J4

By James GreenPublished 3 years ago 1 min read

Amidst the madness of the world

Where daily troubles swirl and twirl

There is a place of peace and ease

Where joy can be found, if we please

It's in the little things, the small delights

The ones that bring us warmth and light

The morning dew upon a blade of grass

The song of birds, a sight to surpass

A friend's kind words, a baby's smile

A book that transports us for a while

These moments may seem fleeting and few

But they bring us joy, bright and true

So let us not forget to see

The beauty in the ordinary

For it is there, if we just look

We'll find a joy that's pure and took

No need for grand or lavish things

The simple pleasures life can bring

Let us embrace them, let them shine

And find joy in something small, divine

fact or fiction
