Finding Joy in the Journey
But a feeling that we can create,
Joy is not a destination,
But a feeling that we can create,
On the journey of life,
No matter our current state.
It's the small moments,
The ones we often overlook,
The beauty in nature,
The love in a single look.
It's the laughter shared,
With friends and loved ones near,
The sense of accomplishment,
From overcoming fear.
So let us not seek joy,
In the end result alone,
But find it in the journey,
As we travel through life's road.
For it is in the journey,
Where we learn and grow,
And it is in the journey,
Where our true selves we show.
So embrace the journey,
Embrace all it brings,
For it is in the journey,
Where true joy truly sings
