I never wanted to be there

Because when I was it hurt too bad

So I left and I ran so very far away

Into the ethers & the multiverse

Away from myself

I couldn’t bare it any longer

There was too much pain

But after awhile

Of being so far away from my heart

I started to feel so alone

So I returned,

and nothing is the same

It’s not as I remembered it here

It’s as if I have to start all over again & again

How many times must you tear everything down inside you

To find your way back home again
