Finally, We Reach the Last Day

A Workweek’s Final Push Toward Rest

Finally, we reach the last day,

The workweek’s weight begins to fray.

Tired bones and weary minds,

Tracing hours, dragging time.

The echoes of deadlines fade away,

As Friday whispers, “just one more day.”

Steel-toed boots and coffee stains,

Clocking in through aches and pains.

But soon the weekend calls us home,

Where rest and laughter freely roam.

So one last push, then breathe in deep,

For freedom waits beyond this week.
