Forgiveness is for me

Once Upon a time, there was a little girl. She loved to sing, dance, and twirl.

Life was not kind to her big beautiful heart. Clouds rolled in and ripped it apart.

You see there was a man, who she loved very much, He taught her there was no such thing as a bad touch.

She was so young. She did not know any better. He said "even if you tell, it will not matter"

She did as she was told. She kept it all to herself. So the man would love her, and not put her on a shelf.

As time would pass, and the little girl grew. She learned it was wrong, but did not know what to do.

Still to scared to tell anyone, she hid her heart away. She felt so dirty. She prayed to be clean one day.

Now a woman grown, it is time for that shower. To wash away the pain and regret. To blossom like a flower.

The forgiveness she gives is not for the man you see. It is for her, so I can finally be free.
