Fight For Them

There was a pup in a pack but the culture was crude

So many trials that this youth had been through

But this pup became a wolf, with it her character grew

From this wisdom she knew

That you don’t always need to bleed so you can learn in this life

She knew this knowledge and she the had the insight

But the mother she just left them: This cut threw like a knife

It happened deep in night…

Why Won’t she fight for them

Or use her sight for them

The youths they wish she would do right by them

How could she choose this path that never circled back?

They carried on…

The other pups in pack they were growing and fast

The older one hoping this wonder would last

By the time they realized what had happen

Well, the damage was vast

They need to confront their past

While still the father he was troubled in just so many ways

That grew with numbers as the pups grew with the days

But the children: they grew stronger as their obstacles raised

For this strength the were praised

She tried to fight for them

And use her sight for them

While they still wished she could do right by them

They need to shed the past and all it’s bonds and wraps

They carry on…
