Fifty Words of Grá

Love ... in 50

By Savannah K. WilsonPublished 11 months ago 1 min read
The Gaelic word grá (“graw”) means "love" - not that I have ever held it

Grá,

A thing desired but never gained

My lonely soul, my broken heart

Screams daily to feel it just once

Why is love so hard to find?

Why does it elude me?

Does it only run from me?

Perhaps, Eros schemes

Waiting for arrow’s mark

My grá becomes

Our love
