Silky smooth Kevin
was my favorite black cat
but he ran away
He was a Bombay
probably still is, although
he’s no longer mine
Reminds me of you,
the last time you ran away—
abandoning me.

With all the missing cat posters I've seen around my neighbourhood. I am so sorry that kevin ran away. I would like to say I like cats. I do, they are adorable. But I was scratched by one. I've been traumatised ever since. He or she was just stretching and my leg happened to be a post. Some long claws they were. I love how slow and tender this poem was. Giving me reminiscing energy. The effort to write exactly what we feel is always a winner 🤗❤️🖤
Ooo, cute, I had a black cat, special boy <3
