Feeling Blue

Blue waves splash upon the shore of my mind,

As I reflect on a world where some things are not kind,

With each breath the tide washes the sad thoughts away,

I will reflect on the world a different day.

Blue rain falls from the sky,

As I listen to someone cry,

With each breath, I release their hurt,

And the rain washes the sadness into the dirt.

Blue waterfall cascades between the rocks,

As fear and vulnerability is brought to the docks,

With each breath, they set sail,

Despite the storm and the strength of the gale.

Blue sky shines up above,

As my heart gives into compassion and love,

With each breath, I sink further and further in,

And consider each smile I can share to be a win.
