Purple Doesn’t Quit, and Neither Do I

Purple is a bold, fierce colour,

Its uniqueness is unlike any other,

It exudes perseverance, bravery and strength,

Purple doesn’t give up, regardless of the length.

Purple doesn’t let others down,

It isn’t disheartened at the sign of a frown,

It doesn’t see failure when things don’t go its way,

Purple keeps going every single day.

Purple knows its own power,

It knows that after each rain will come a flower,

It sees the potential for good, even in the worst situation,

Purple knows that it has a role in its own creation.

Purple cannot be replaced,

Blue won’t fill the void when strength has been misplaced,

When bravery is needed, green can’t be used instead,

Perseverance won’t be achieved with red.

Purple is needed,

It’s a symbol of resilience that should always be heeded,

Despite each moment of strife,

Purple helps achieve the best out of life.
