Way too many people
waste precious life
feeling small.
I hope you are not one.
We are born
with tabula rasa—
a clean slate.
But as we grow,
we develop motivations
and want to rise
in the socioeconomic
hierarchy.
If we achieve those,
we are happy.
If not—
hell breaks loose.
"I am not good enough"
becomes catastrophic.
It spawns self-hatred—
an inferno worse
than rust
The world look dark.
You talk cynically,
So, don’t feel small.
Credit yourself
for the effort you put in,
while staying true
to yourself.
Why compare with others
when your platter
is different?
Be proud of yourself.
Wear the amulets
of kindness and gratitude—
and feel unique.
Not small, not big,
just one of a kind.
Remember—
your emotional well-being
is your onus.
Work on it.
Don’t waste life
in self-pity.

The emotional wellbeing is so important.
Yes, we need to keep loving ourselves so we can love others. We need to share what we can with others whatever we can. Good job.
Inspiring and empowering poem! ✨ It beautifully reminds us to embrace our uniqueness, value our efforts, and rise above self-doubt. A wonderful message of self-love and inner strength! 👏
