Fear

Fears hold us in rusty chains,

Protecting ourselves from inner pain,

Keeps you restrained inside a box, you can’t get out as it is locked,

Shout for help and your voice is stopped,

Bondage kept for power play,

Stops the sun brightening your day,

Keeps you trapped within yourself,

You can’t hide or shout for help,

However we can unlock that box,

Give our soul a total detox,

Open it just a little crack,

To feel the light that we do lack,

Then open it some up more again,

You can’t have joy without some pain,

Feel it all - let yourself shine,

Be who you are let yourself align,

The dark of fear totally abates,

Left inside that box don’t wait,

You can’t have fear without love,

But with that you have help from above,

So let love conquer all your fears,

Takes them from you they’ll disappear,

Realise that your soul is true,

It no longer matters what others do,

So turn fear to love for all to see,
