Fear cannot live
on its own.
It needs support
to be felt and known.

It needs a mind
to exaggerate its use.
It needs a heart
to strengthen its fuse.

It needs a human
to put it to task.
It needs a future
in which to bask.

It needs a hand
to tremble in its face.
It needs a lip
to quiver in its base.

Alone it will dissipate
into its false identity.
It'll be mocked and taunted
And treated as nonentity.

So, why do you allow
to be overtaken,
and leave your courage
alone and forsaken?

Why in your goals
do you allow it to rule?
Ans cower in its trickery,
Why, old fool?

Child, without you
tis fear cannot live.
So why do you offer
your services to give?
