For my Husband

Arctic Ice

Shattered

A touch

Like a javelin thrown

Now I’m awake

And little I knew

How deeply I slept

Shadows vacated

Cobwebs cleared

A pulse pounds

Yanking me upright

Seeing you

Seeing me

Knowing you

Knowing me

Loving you

Loving me

Learning how

The pieces fit

You and Me

Touching! I love it! Not knowing how deeply asleep you were until he awakened up-- fantastic analogy. I also love the simple eloquence of each line. I'm Bill a.k.a. Bolt I have subscribed to you. ⚡💙⚡
