More than just a seed in the womb
Fatherhood provides day in and day out
The nurturing and love that is without doubt
Unsung at times it may be hard to see fatherhoods impact on society
Sometimes regarded with disdain the father is only associated with pain
Men are taught never to cry if they are in pain to bury it deep inside
Some live is this type of dysfunction without the people seeing they are still a human being
The measure of a man cannot be only how hard he fights
Take into account his hopes and dreams also his fear as he navigates why he is here
Bestowed as head of the kingdom there are so many boxes to check why we need him
From childhood to manhood what has he learned
What shall he pass on when it becomes his turn
If no one ever sowed a seed what shall he give out of the depth of his need
In fatherhood there is much to understand before society measures the value of a man
Come together and find the way
Happy Father’s Day
