Fate's Plot
Poetry on the Theme of Fate
We can't always leave things to chance. Michelle Liew
This is for Mikeydred's March prompt.
***************************************************
I put my seed into a pot
It grew into a plant, on Fate's plot
"I know that it will grow with time."
In a quiet voice, I let Fate entwine .
****************************************************
Through the heat and rainy months,
It grew slowly without my fuss.
"I leave it all to fate's good choice."
I murmured lazily, prepared to rejoice
*********************************************
Fate, though, was angsty, her gusts strong
One blew hard, a twist gone wrong,
My small seed lay on barren land
None to assist, no strength to stand
********************************************
"I should have tried harder," I then thought
"To grow it myself, not on someone's plot."
So nature hummed, with a hand that shoved,
"Rich soil does grow, but that's not enough."

Great lesson that we must tend to ourselves and our plots whatever kind they may be.
If we don't take care of our own "garden", it'll wither and die no matter how good the soil is <3
The growth of a dream requires commitment. The rebirth of many whispers of fate. Love, in order to bloom, needs the richness of the soul. Great work and deep soul inprintment. 🌞🌼
So inspiring poem, Michelle! I love it, and this is my favorite line-"In a quiet voice, I let Fate entwine ."
Sometimes, we gotta put in the effort too. Loved your poem!
Love the lesson within this poem. Fate/faith without work is dead.
