i got tasered by the PSO's
on the Belgrave train
i didn't scan my Myki card
trying to dodge the fuckin rain
i didn't even see the bastards
they came up from behind
between the carriages
on a bend
they got me cold and blind
i frothed at the mouth
i twitched then dribbled
i spakked right out
they zapped then giggled
i pissed myself and ripped my pants
basically i was fucked
with no control of my body at all
i gagged then burped then chucked
i twitched like an edgy disco boy
as they electrocuted me some more
i looked like a rejected Picasso model
all bunched and hunched up on the floor
and just when i thought it was over
they laughed and lit me up again
i was covered in piss and shit and snot
embarrassed and in so much pain

Day 4 of Quitting
If this is how sobriety feels, maybe it’s better to go through life a little buzzed… this, along with other hits like, I want to kill myself, I wish I was dead, and I’m going to throw myself off a bridge have been the only thoughts on rotation these past few days. I promise myself that if, in a month, I still feel like this (‘this’ meaning despondent, full of rage, and simultaneously numb) I can go back to smoking. Until mid-February though? Nicotine is off the table.
