Fan the flame!

The sound of it upon my ear,

The stirring of my heart,

It’s passion played oh so clear,

For each and every part,

Through darkest times and darkest days,

Where love coincides with pain,

When hope fades with upright ways,

With shouts of cynical disdain,

In such times and days of strife,

Where hurt endures, and wrongs are not made right,

An invigoration to the cause of life,

Must inspire each and every person’s fight,

So look up, stay strong, keep the lamp ablaze!

With oil reserved for the darkest days,

Where hope burns defiantly, and love then stays,

With faith preserved in all our ways!

Such is the fight for every person,

For every one to surely thrive,

In order to outlast the storm,

You must keep the music alive!
