Click-clack, click-clack the hooves repeat

The rider rides smoothly on his seat

Click-clack, click-clack the rider is near

The grand old oak tree.

In the verdant forest, there whistles a breeze

That blows sweet delicacies. Swish-swash the river runs by

And the rider turns toward the sun setting sky.

“Neigh—neigh” “Don’t stop now tis almost time.”

Two ‘ours pass, and grey swirls surround as the day is old and the night is young. the rider finally settles with thyme

In his pocket.

Slowed down to a halt

The rider slides down, w’out a fault.

Out of his sack, he pulls out a pot.

In it, there is hot stew.

“Tis her favorite.

Poultry fills it along with veggies anew Thyme is dye finishing touch.

Oh. how you loved it so very much.” The rider sits down with pot grey

As he wishes forever, he could stay.

Here which you lie,

Thy grave reads “Dearest Wife and Mother” I feel my time is almost nigh.

After our supper is done

I’ll lie down and rest

Next to you and Cassidy

All as a family

Together

Forever.
