Cry Over Cuts

Cry Over Cuts

Verse 1

Cry over cuts and stitches, not over bastards and bitches,

The ones who never cared enough to stay.

You’ve carried every heartbreak like a weight across your shoulders,

But some wounds aren’t worth the price you pay.

Verse 2

Cry for the nights you held yourself together,

For every scar that taught you how to stand.

Don’t waste a single tear on those who walked away,

They never earned the softness of your hands.

Chorus

Cry over cuts and stitches, not the ones who never listened,

Not the ones who used your kindness as a crutch.

Your heart was never meant for those who couldn’t hold it,

Or those who only loved you when it cost them nothing much.

Verse 3

Cry for the girl who kept on rising anyway,

For every time she fought to stay alive.

Save your tears for healing, not for people who were poison,

Not for those who never tried to help you thrive.

Chorus

Cry over cuts and stitches, not over bastards and bitches,

Let the past fall silent where it stands.

Your tears belong to truth, not to the ones who broke it,

And never to the ones who let you slip from their hands.
