Trauma bonded to the narcissistic
Born into a world of white hate
Everywhere I turn privilege stabs
Pretty powerless princess bleeds
Self inflicted pattern of pain
Each time for love to refrain
Lusty touch creating heartfelt illusions
Toxic ecstasy trapping demons of past
Fluttering through my rib cage
From frozen fear swallowed rage
Realized childhood monsters manifest
Through the lighting in his fingertips
Moonlight hides those gaslit eyes
As I watch him steal my shine
Like I owe him my earthly body
As age whittles away staggered ego
Legacy shot up in a needle dancing with death
The energy vampire avoids the mirror of his truth
Something evil in that swamp they were forced to inhabit
The unspeakable terrors of forced assimilation
Broken generations built on greed of survival
Because natural selection of the ones that capitalize
Our lost language of love and respect lets out a dying breath
As the black snake shape shifts
