Fall...Carnivals...Cotton Candy and Sugar Delights

This is the time of year,

When the air is hinting at being brisk, but still warm.

The fall leaves begin to sway and change

The bright colors of orange, red, and purple shine through.

When the fair comes along

Where cotton candy equal spun sugar and delight.

If I’m feeling curious,

I’ll mingle over to the palm reader’s tent

And get my fortune read.

Sitting in the chair

Will be her black cat,

With those all-seeing blue eyes

And a charm dangling around its neck.

Where he’ll tell me to fly,

Fly far away and never look back.

To find love and adventure in life

To not sit back to wait on life to come to me.

Makes me want to go to the fair...I can smell the corn dogs and hear the shrieks.
