Her fake friend with a heart of stone

Whose every word felt like a drone

Whose smile never reached their eyes

And whose presence felt like a guise

She thought she found a kindred soul

Someone to share her joys and goals

But soon she realized the truth

That her friend was just a fake, uncouth

Her fake friend's embrace was cold

Their laughter, shallow, and too bold

Their words, a mask to hide their lies

And their promises just empty cries

She tried to hold on, tried to believe

That her friend was not trying to deceive

But the truth was crystal clear

That her friend was nothing but insincere

So she decided to let them go

To leave behind the pain and woe

For true friends are a precious find

And fake ones, just a waste of time

And though her heart was filled with sorrow

She knew that she would find tomorrow

With friends who'd love her through and through

And stay with her, no matter what she'd do.
