Faithful Patrons

He who is faithful with little, will be faithful with much.

There is great joy in the faithful.

Those who bring down their gifts like thunderous rain

Humility is their cloak, their ways are always civil,

for peace follows them wherever they go.

...

Peace guards them like an iron-guard

makes paths for them with a sickle.

Peace teaches them to sing and pray

and gives wisdom to the simple.

...

Depart from me, O devourer of dreams

I refuse your invitations to be fickle.

Let me raise my head to the Lord, out loud

may His graces shower me in trickles.

...

Who is the vitality of life?

Who is the love of legend?

Who is the one who sees and knows me?

Who knows when I pretend?

...

Is it not God? Is it not God?

With His Just and Righteous Rod?

Is it not God? Is it not God?

He is with His staff and rod.

...

He has come to correct me.

He has come to show me.

He has come to protect me.

He has come to love me.

...

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me,

all the days of my life,

and I will dwell in the house of the Lord,

forever and ever, amen.
