I love you,

But you don't know.

Maybe you feel the same way.

Or maybe I'm overanalyzing conversations,

That have no significance.

Putting commas where there should be periods.

Reading your texts with a slight upbeat tone.

Maybe these are feelings,

That my mind fabricated

In order to quench my hearts thirst.

But when I'm with you,

The magic is real

And I forget that we aren't living in a fairytale.

I am not a Cinderella who will find

Her prince charming,

Simply because she dreamed it possible.

And I am so desperately trying to remember that.
